Overview

CodeBuilder is a AI based IDE, which features AI multiagent architecture. CodeBuilder, creates websites features in realtime based on the user's requirements in normal english.

Technologies Used

• NextJS - React Framework for the application

• Python GRPC - Uses GRPC server written in python to capture user's input and process them.

• Autogen - Uses cutting edge Microsoft Autogen framework to orchestrate multiple agents and facilitate communication between them in order to complete the tasks.

• WS - Websocket server to power the IDE and manage the website and capture errors.

Features

• Multiagent orchestration - Allows us to choose between a wide array of LLMs and pick the right LLM for right tasks, like task planning, writing code, etc.
• Realtime IDE - This IDE allows us to see the code and interact with it in realtime as AI agents write code.
• Automatic Error Captures - Capturing errors on the fly, which allows efficient debugging and fixes by the agents.

Challenges and Solutions

One of the main challenge was to orchestrate and distribute tasks between the LLMs and to come up with the suitable Autogen workflow. Also, another challenge was to handle the technical details of writing a realtime IDE and capturing application errors in realtime.

CodeBuilder provides one of a kind AI multiagent IDE that makes creating websites without any coding knowledge. In addition to that, it has the architecture and capabilities to allow AI agents to create almost any type of software.
